This step-on sliding glass patio door lock is molded from impact resistant nylon. This lock is designed to be mounted on the bottom edge of the active doors inside stile. Two ¼ inch holes are drilled into the patio doors aluminum track to accept the locks double pins when the top activation button is lightly stepped on. Another button on the face of the lock is depressed for the locking bolts to spring back into the locks body. Excellent and convenient additional security to any exterior siding door.
