This step-on sliding glass patio door lock is molded from impact resistant nylon. This lock is designed to be mounted on the bottom edge of the active doors inside stile. Two ¼_ holes are drilled into the patio door aluminum track to accept the double pins __ throw when the top activation button is lightly stepped on. Another button on the face of the lock is depressed for the locking bolts to spring back into the lock_s body releasing the door to be opened.
